Courteney Cox Arquette is best known for her role as Monica Gellar on the popular sitcom Friends. Cox`s first claim to fame was in Bruce Springsteen`s Dancing in the Dark music video in 1984. A few years later she snagged a recurring role opposite Michael J. Fox in the television series Family Ties. In 1994 she was cast in Ace Venture: Pet Detective with a wacky, goofy, and charismatic Jim Carrey. While doing Friends, she also starred in the wildly successful Sceam trilogoy. That`s where she met her husband David Arquette. They have one daughter, Coco. Cox now stars in the racy FX series Dirt. The actress is best-friends with Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston.
